La Gomera

We will depart aboard a ferry to the island of La Gomera, where Christopher Columbus made a stopover before leaving for the New World. From San Sebastián we will ascend to the Cedro forest. Our tour will take us to Roque de Agando, Garajonay National Park, La Laguna Grande, Mirador de Vallehermoso.

Onboard a ferry we will leave for the island of La Gomera, where Christopher Columbus made his last stop before leaving to discover the New World, arriving in San Sebastián, the island’s capital.

We will skirt the Cedro forest, entering one of the last laurel forests in the world, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Our tour will take us among other sites through the impressive Roque de Agando, Garajonay National Park: La Laguna Grande and Mirador de Vallehermoso.

We will stop at Las Rosas, where we will have time for lunch and a sample of the rubber whistle, a peculiar indigenous communication system. On the way back, we will discover the cultural and historical past of San Sebastián (Church of the Assumption, Chapel of San Sebastián and the Torre del Conde). La Gomera is a stronghold of traditions. We will live it from its culture, gastronomy, views and hospitality. Various stops will make it possible.
